- אסיל
- אָסֵל, אָסֵילm. (סלל; cmp. Gr. ἄσιλλα) a pole or yoke carried on two or, more commonly, on one shoulder. Par. VII, 5 וקושרו בא׳ and fastens the bucket to the pole. Kel. XVII, 16 הא׳ שיש בווכ׳ a carrying yoke in which there is a (hidden) receptacle for money; Koh. R. to IX, 13 אסיל.
